  • Chuck Bushbeck

    Chuck Bushbeck is an Area Scout for the Los Angeles Angels and Director of "Full Armor Baseball Academy" . He was recently honored on "Comcast Sports Net" and awarded the Comcast "MVP" Award. Although Chuck continued to play club baseball at Villanova , it was Chuck's kicking leg that was drawing attention from professional football teams in the "NFL" . During his senior year, Chuck transferred to East Carolina University and drew more national attention as a Pre-Season "All-American" and was featured on the "ABC" (Prudential College Scoreboard) Halftime Show . During his senior year, Chuck was diagnosed with cancer , (hodgkin's disease) but, decided to play the season while undergoing radiation treatments. Chuck was later invited to professional football tryouts with the , Baltimore Colts , Philadelphia Eagles and New Jersey Generals (USFL) and later signed with the Memphis Showboats (USFL) in 1985. Today, Chuck continues to give motivational and educational seminars throughout the area.

Full Armor Traning Staff

  • Chuck Bechtel attended Marist College and was later Drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 15th Round in 2002. Chuck becamse the first person in Marist College history to pitch a nine-inning, no hit game! During his College career, Chuck was Ranked 7th in the Nation for NCAA "Division 1" Pitchers with a 1.59 ERA. Chuck has also appeared in the Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals organizations. He finished his career wit the Camden Riversharks and later retired from Major League Baseball with a total of 107 Game Appearances, and a career, 145 strikeouts!

  • Kris Dufner attended the University of Deleware and was later Drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 38th Round in 2003. During his career at the University of Deleware, Kris was chosen to the "All-American East Team" and the "All CAA Team". Kris then spent 4 years with the Tampa Bay Rays organization and played in 102 games with a .304 Batting Average. Kris was known for his versatility as he was able to play all four infield positions effectively.

  • Bob Williams played Baseball and graduated from West Philly High School in 1977 and was nominated "First Team All Public". He then attended Philadelphia Community College and Arizona State University where he attracted Major League attention due to his power hitting and exceptional size. During his Baseball playing days, he was mentored by Philadelphia Phillies great "Dick Allen". Bob is currently the Baseball Director for our "Inner City" program and is Head Coach in th e Philadelphia Philles "RBI" program.

  • Juan Namnun is currently the head coach at Frankford High School in Philadelphia. During his 11 years at Frankford, Juan has won 7 public school championships and has the only PA state playoff win in school history. In his first 2 seasons as head coach, Namnun has produced two First Team All-State players and an MLB draft pick for the Washington Nationals.

  • John Paone was an outstanding catcher for Bensalem (PA) High School. He hit .576 as a sophomore in 1977 and in 1979 posted a .556 average to win the Lower Bucks County League batting title. That year he was selected a High School All American, and received First Team All-Area and All-City honors. He is a member of the Bensalem High School Sports Hall of Fame for baseball.

  • Mike O'Rourke played Nate Ben's in the Max Meyer's League and won back to back Championships along with 2 Gold Medal Championships He Pitched From 1985 through 2007 in various leagues (LaRossa League - Three (3) years for IGA). Pitched in numerous State Championships, Regional Championships, and National Qualifiers. His pitch selection included the Drop Ball, Rise Ball, Sweeping Curve Ball and a Change Up.
